It takes courage to know that it is time to reach out. Even trying something new, like Mindfulness, can feel like too much effort.
We all experience stress in our busy lives from our jobs, families, friendships, finances and those unforeseen stressors like illness, job loss, and death. Our performance driven society can add another layer of stress. We are wired to be hard on ourselves, compare ourselves to others, and even think something is wrong with us.
By learning and practicing Mindfulness, we will work together to learn how to pause, and notice what is happening in a non-judgmental way. We learn how to become curious and befriend whatever arises. Our work together will help you to become your best self as you learn new ways to respond to stress. Pause and breathe in slowly to the count of 4 and out to the count to 4. The breath is your anchor to each moment.
